BLACKPINK’s Jisoo to Date 900 Men? Park Seo-jun, Seo In-guk, Seo Kang-joon, Lee Soo-hyuk & More?

Recently, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo was spotted filming for her upcoming K-drama, “Boyfriend on Demand” (previously known as “Monthly Boyfriend”). Photos of the idol-actress wearing a pink varsity jacket and a matching pink headband on the filming set have seen been spread, showing Jisoo with a bright expression as she stood amid a set resembling a university festival.

Additionally, another person who saw Jisoo filming mentioned that Seo Kang-joon and Park Seo-joon appearing at the scene, sparking speculations about the latter’s special appearance.

Meanwhile, according to the coverage of media outlet News1 on March 6th, Seo Kang-joon and Lee Soo-hyuk will make a special appearance in the new drama “Boyfriend on Demand”, which will be released on the OTT platform Netflix.

It seems that after Seo In-guk and BLACKPINK’s Jisoo were confirmed to appear as the main characters, the lineup of special appearances that will raise the excitement index of “Boyfriend on Demand” is also splendid.

Meanwhile, previously on December 3, an account well-known for information regarding upcoming Korean movie and drama projects, dropped a post regarding the synopsis of “Boyfriend on Demand” (previously known as “Month Boyfriend”) – the K-drama starring BLACKPINK’s Jisoo and actor Seo In-guk. 

According to this post, “Boyfriend on Demand”, follows webtoon producer Seo Mi-rae (played by Jisoo), who desires a love without risks. As a result, she embarks on a journey to find love through a virtual dating simulation called “Monthly Boyfriend”. Most shocking of all, this producer is said to experience relationships with 900 different men in a risk-free environment, meaning Jisoo’s character will practically date …900 men.

Additionally, images said to be the work space of Jisoo’s character have also been released, giving a general look into the type of role the female idol is going to challenge this time around.

Fans who have seen the synopsis have since expressed shock, leaving comments such as, “Jisoo never chooses a normal script??”, “900 different men??? Interesting…”, and “900 different men is crazy. That’s not even monthly boyfriend, that’s DAILY boyfriend”.

With Lee Soo-hyuk and Seo Kang-joon’s confirmed appearance, there are suspicions that they will be featuring as some “boyfriends” among Jisoo’s “900 men”, raising anticipation higher than ever.

On the other hand, other than “Boyfriend on Demand”, Jisoo recently appeared in the zombie K-drama “Newtopia” and is set to star in the movie adaptation for famous web-novel “Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint”.
